The grand once offered the best Shorteats but now the quality of food is just bad. Bought a sausage pastry but ended up with a lotus looking puff. It was so starchy with a tiny bit of sausage inside. Very disappointing food offered overall.

We have been regular visitors to Gran Gastrobar and always appreciated the friendly staff, excellent food, and pleasant atmosphere. Earlier today, we visited the Grand Espresso Bar and spent around 7,800 on cake, short eats, and coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee cake tasted unusual, so we contacted the manager to inform them. While they eventually replaced the cake, we were disappointed with the way our concern was addressed. The quality of customer service matters as much as the food, and we truly hope the management takes this feedback positively and improves how customer complaints are handled.

Great Vibe and Coffee at The Grand – Negombo I visited The Grand in Negombo and had a great experience. We ordered the cappuccino cake, iced coffee, iced latte, and hot latte all were well made and enjoyable. The atmosphere was really nice with a cool, relaxed vibe. There’s plenty of seating available, both downstairs and upstairs, as well as a pleasant outdoor area. The space is well-designed and comfortable, making it a great place to hang out, catch up with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time with a good drink. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
