Hotel Princess Rose offers reasonable service and a good location for those needing accommodation or event halls in Vavuniya. It can work well for basic stays, group events, or short-term use. But don’t expect luxury—there are recurring complaints about maintenance, cleanliness, and consistency of service.

I was there to train a group of people. The location is nice, with a few trees and in a calm and quiet area. The environment was very calm and quiet. The training hall was nice, the food was okay, and everything went well. But when I went to check my room in the evening, I didn't feel comfortable. The rooms had extra switches for electricity and AC outside the room. So, while you are in the room, someone can switch off your AC and cut down all electricity to your room. I am not sure how the other rooms worked, but I was in bad luck. Also, when you are outside your room, there are only two toilets; one for men and one for women. As I broke for lunch after training, there were people lining up for the washroom; not something I would expect in a nice hotel like this. Hope the management will fix some of the issues there.

We conducted a three day workshop and it was well facilitated by the hotel. Customer service was at its best! The food was exceptional—very tasty! We appreciate the owner and the team for their great hospitality. Rooms can be improved a bit more; however, we had a comfortable stay. I would totally recommend this place if you are in Vavuniya.

The management staff and manager at the Hotel Princess Rose were extremely kind and provided us with satisfactory services as a result of a three-day training program that we had conducted there. Additionally, they fulfilled our requests promptly, which helped our training course be effective.

My son’s birthday party was held at here. We booked this hall and two rooms. The hall hasn’t stage. So we had rented separately.And we had struggled with hall door. They were not working good. Rooms are too costly but have not good facilities. Intercom did not work. Room arrangements were very poor. The only good thing is good environment. More trees and plants. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this place. Too costly . Poor facilities.
