I was in Alankulama Family Super Complex Anuradhapura three weeks ago during my short visit to Sri Lanka. I was waiting in the queue until my turn at the pastry counter. The female workers there were serving the customers behind me. I got frustrated and talked to myself. Then I assume the supervisor asked them to serve me. They got angry and muttered, so I got to know I need to tell them what I need. Actually, I was waiting for them to reach me. I thought that's the way it was going. No-one served me but the lady who was on the cash machine. I visited the shop the following day. The same workers were at the counter. When they recognised me, they turned their backs to me until another female worker served. It made me so disappointed and frustrated.These workers at least need basic customer service skills because everyone who visits your shop doesn't know how to get the service. I avoided the shop until I came back because of an unpleasant experience.

Alankulama Family Super Complex – Anuradhapura is a spacious, well-laid-out shopping centre catering to daily needs and more. It features fresh produce, bakery items, dairy, snacks, and household essentials. The store is clean, bright, and easy to navigate with clearly labeled sections. Prices are fair, with occasional promotions to help you save. The staff are friendly and efficient—checkout lines are speedy and courteous. Ample parking and organized aisles make it ideal for family grocery trips or larger shopping hauls. A dependable, well-run complex offering quality goods, convenience, and a pleasant shopping experience.

This a place with several businesses. The most frequented seems to be the bakery cafe at the ground floor Simple meals are available there. Some items are expensive considering the standard of service. They should clearly display prices. I saw a customer ridiculing the price of tea. There are two restaurants upstairs offering local meals and Chinese kind meals. They are even more expensive. There is also a super market at the ground floor with reasonable stocks of goods. The service personal in all places seems to be not so geared to customer care. They need some training.

" Poor Hospitality Service with Unprofessional Team " I have been with my family members around thirty / thirty five group including kids. We have order plenty of chicken fried rice / rice & curry for lunch. I know there is a self service. We are fine with that but there too slow and no basic service on the table. Glass wear for drinking water and soft drinks, paper tissue, cutlery and staff very rude and not friendly at all. There is a no issue with meal what we are order. That's fine for the quick lunch. But overall there is a many things to improve. Just wan a say poor hospitality, so shame 😕😔🙄

Potions of food provided for the amount specified are very poor. The quality of the food is also not up to the standard. Some rice grains of rice we ordered are raw.
