Honestly I’m actually angry at some of these 1 star reviews!! The fact that they have taken animals in to provide food and love and a safe environment speaks volumes over your narrow minded reviews. The space was extensively clean and provided a warm homely feeling with games! Every table was full. As for the comment regarding the pasta, I think you need to remember you’re in Sir Lanka not Italy, so yes it won’t hold upto an insanely high standard! That being sed I shared the tomatoe bruschetta with my husband and had the pesto pasta which was delicious!! My husband had the calamari pasta and loved it, I was craving pasta for days and this hit the spot! We read about your story, and you have created a very well presented, clean and home like place - 10 out of 10 for us!!

Amazing pasta! They grow their own basil to make their pesto. The eggplant pasta was also fantastic. Highly recommend if you're craving some Italian food in Nilaveli.

Such delicious and freshly made food mainly with ingredients from their garden. We ate here each night. The Italian food was incredible, especially the eggplant pasta and pesto spaghetti. On our final night they did Sri Lankan curry which was do delicious too!

It's the only hygienic and good food place in nilaveli. Staying in nilaveli for 3 nights. All my meals have been at Leo's. The price maybe slightly higher than other nearby restaurants, but you get what you pay for and it's all super hygienic which is always my main criteria while travelling. Breakfast is just 2500 LKR which is a steal.

Had a lovely dinner at Leo’s cafe, I had the homemade pesto pasta and it was very delicious. My partner had the tuna pasta and she said equally delicious. We shared the tomato bruschetta which was on nice warm bread and well seasoned. Staff were lovely and the restaurant itself is clean and nicely maintained. Finally for dessert I would definitely recommend the pancakes, a lovely way to finish.
