On of the best meals i have ever eaten in my life. We reserved a table one day in advance (but it is possible until three hours in advance) and ordered vegetarian food, then we were invited into their home to eat there, when we got there, everything was ready, we have got 7 different dishes with rice and crackers, all of them were so tasty and different and we could barely eat everything of it because it was a lot. The people are very friendly and attentive. Thank you for this fantastic experience!

Margret is an excellent cook. We enjoyed a fantastic Sinhalese dinner. Margret and her husband Raja are very warm hosts and very entertaining. We spent a very nice evening with the whole family. We can highly recommend this experience.

Brilliant food cooked in the home of a very friendly family. We had the most delicious fish, rice, and eggplant side. Make sure to book ahead, you won’t be disappointed!

This is beyond a restaurant experience. It's actually dining in the house of Raja and his family. Margaret, his wife whipped up the most amazing Sri Lankan authentic cuisines. We were served generous portions of rice, pumpkin, egg plants, fish covered in spice, mixed vegetables, fruits and all. They were all out-of-this-world delicious and their hospitality was a tremendous window into Sri Lankan true family love. We have to be idiots not to experience this

if you after an authentic home cooked Sri Lankan dinner in Nilaveli (beach north of Trncomalee) then King Coconut is your answer. WhatsApp Raja/ Margaret in the morning and Margaret will prepare a delish multiple dish curry for you that evening. We booked for just the 2 but they can cater for larger numbers. You are invited into their home and get a real taste of Sri Lankan life. Raja can pick up & deliver you from/to your accommodation . Cost was 2500 LR/person for dinner, a good price for home made curry which was delicious. We had a wonderful evening and highly recommend.
