I strongly recommend visiting this place — it’s definitely worth it! The food is tasty, the service quick, and they offer both spicy and non-spicy options. In the evening the atmosphere is lively and full of good vibes, with a modern design and stylish staff who speak good English. But the real highlight is the fireplace. They always keep it burning with firewood, and it’s such a pleasure to come in from the windy, rainy weather, sit by the fire, warm up with a glass of wine, and enjoy delicious food. Truly a cozy and memorable experience!

I visited Themparadu Restaurant with my wife, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food we received tasted like it had been stored in the refrigerator and was definitely not worth the price we paid. The service was also very poor — the staff seemed to pay more attention to foreigners and did not treat local guests with the same care. The only positives were the atmosphere and the beautiful decor, which were quite good. But apart from that, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I really loved the vibe. The chicken in the bee was my favourite. I really miss the flavor now (whoever came up with the recipe must be a genius). Spicy pot and cheese masala kottu were super delicious. I would definitely visit again.

One of the best meal i had in sri lanka!! All the dishes we tried were amazing, personal favourite was the Hot Battered Cuttlefish!! The staff were really friendly too and attentive! They have live music on certain days too! The place was pretty vibey too! We had 2 meals here because it was so good!

We had a great meal at Themparadu! Tried their chicken fried rice, seafood fried rice, and milk coffee — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The rice was perfectly cooked with generous portions of meat and seafood, and the milk coffee was smooth and comforting. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lively but relaxed. A great spot in Nuwara Eliya for tasty food and a good vibe. Highly recommend!
