When there is a plastic cover our your plate you will be questioning your decision. Thank god we did not leave. They just brought out food and we did not understand all of it but it did not matter. The food was one of the best we tasted in Sri Lanka. Roti was amazing! Just lovely people, good food and a nice view is all you need (no we did not get sick ;)).

My husband and I stopped on the way to grab a bite, curry flatbreads + pastries. We really liked it, tasty and not spicy. I was surprised that they cook in hats in the kitchen, which is rare in places like this. Nice view of the river, authentic.

Excellent location to relax and eat something light and you can go for a free boat ride too🤩🤩

Excellent rest stop: fresh juices, fresh snacks, very peaceful view with shaded seating area, and very kind welcoming humans.
