I bought two fried rice a few days ago and it has many defects. there are problems with taste and cleanliness. UPDATE: I’m the person who originally added this hotel to Google Maps few years ago when it was located near Eightking Space Garment, Agalawatta Road. At first, I gave it a five-star rating to support this startup business. However, over time I had to reduce the rating due to the decline in food quality and poor staff service. Now, I’m giving it just one star because they sold me horrible, unhygienic food that gave me a severe stomach ache a few days ago. I will never buy food from this dirty place again👎

Hotel Katagasgama seems to be a place with a unique set of charms and challenges. It's notably popular with tuition going teenage lovers, which could be a delight bonus for some visitors. The highlight is undoubtedly the delicious rich and curry, which comes with an array of freshly prepared side dishes - a local culinary experience with an adorable price. Nevertheless, the hotel appears to be in dire straits regarding cleanliness and maintenance. There is noticeable disregard for hygiene, with paint peeling off the walls and wash basin is yuck with stains and food residue. The interior is unappealing to add to the discomfort. The toilet is hidden behind a huge refrigerator and antiquated squatting type and quite alarming no door or a sink. Service is a big issue. The waiter who served us donning a face mask and clad in dirty pair of shorts was impatient. He cleared the tables before we finished savoring a good meal. Overall, while the food pricing was a draw, the lack of cleanliness and dated facilities were indeed significant drawbacks.

Few days ago I took a fried rice. We always expecting a fresh one. But they serve me it with pre cooked one. You’ll never know when it cooked. Their service is not good either. Not recommended.
