Stopped here on the way to Colombo from Vavuniya for a snack break. The place was pretty crowded and noisy which is expected as intercity buses stop for a break for passengers. Food and pricing weren’t bad.

The open concept of the dining area spills out to lush green fields and dusty lawn, where brightly coloured buses arrive in a cacophony of honking horns and hissing brakes, disgorging throngs of passengers, with small bundles and weary travellers clutching their personal belongings all converge here, drawn to authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. Inside its a delightful pandemonium, waiters, and their faces glistening with sheen of exertation, navigate the crowded space with trays piled high with steaming rice and curries. The staff is very pleasant. The price is reasonable.

Stopped here during a travel break and was pleasantly surprised! The hot pastry was absolutely delicious—fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. The coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time—rich, smooth, and just what I needed to recharge. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quick bite. Highly recommended for anyone passing through
