We ordered 2 coffees and a small cake. When asked about the receipt we were given an old menu with crossed out prices. Don't get scammed, get a price first.

Decent donut, average cake and poor mango lassi - when it came to pay, they told us just a price, I requested a breakdown and the employee told me what it was for - I had to ask for the receipt and turns out on the receipt it was 300 rupees cheaper than what was told to us. Careful as this seems common practice in this town.

I only had coffee here, and they had what looked like a "pod" type coffee machine. The coffee was better than the hotel, but not great. Staff were friendly, food looked "sad". Sri Lanka is not a cake country and this shop sold cake. Cakes looked "sad".

Highly not recommended. I bought two pastries. One was ok, and the other one (jam pastry) had too much sugar on top so I asked to change it with something else more expensive, so I can add more money. However, I was refused even though it was completely wrapped. I didn't even open it. I'll add that both pastries were dry. The jam one I wanted to change had almost no jam in it. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but this was too much. The employees didn't even care and didn't suggest any other help. I strongly don't recommend.
