I often go there for rice and curry since I live nearby. I have tried rice and curry fron many places but this place offers food like home cooked for an affordable price. Of course they don’t smile and welcome you warmly. But they know what to offer their customers. I thank Achala Akka and the staff for their tasty recipes.

If you are around Kadirana, Negombo, you should try Achala Foods. Food is very good. You have lot of variations of home like foods, there. Specifically, if you are a fan of rice and curry, this is the best place. You will feel like, you are having home cooked food. Best thing is Achala has rice and curry even for dinner which is very rare around. Place is very clean. They very well maintain it. If you want to try a "Good Tea", this is the best around. Don't forget to mention "Tea with reduced sugar". 😜 Only bad side I see is, that they are not caring about hospitality and customer loyalty. I have been a customer of Achala Hotel for years and still they have never smiled with me. They always treat you like they see you for the first time. And sometimes you might think that "Are they doing a business or a free service". 😂😂😂 People still come to place coz of good foods. They should thoroughly think about it. However, I strongly recommend the place.
