468 Restaurant in Hikkaduwa is a small, cozy, and unique spot that stands out from most places in Sri Lanka. The quality of the food and beverages is excellent, with a variety of tasty options to choose from. Lashkan, who serves as both the driver and waiter, truly adds to the experience. He’s incredibly polite, positive, and speaks good English, always making sure your orders are taken care of. The atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, with the place playing Lashkan’s mom’s favorite tracks from the ’80s. We even got a laugh out of hearing some Christmas classics in October! The only drawback is the lack of fans or air conditioning, so if you’re sensitive to the heat, keep that in mind. Despite that, it’s a charming spot that’s definitely worth a visit for a different and memorable dining experience in Hikkaduwa.

Maybe we were just unlucky, but we waited a really long time for our food. We ordered for 4 people and when the first person finished eating, it took more than an hour for the 4th guest to get their food. In total, our lunch here took us 2.5 hours, most of which we didn't even have drinks. It wasn't bad in terms of taste, but there's no reason to go back, there are many better restaurants in the area.
